How we count.
A mother is counted once she has been registered by a village health team and has attended at least one antenatal visit. She is counted a single time, in one district, for the year.
A child is counted once a mid-upper arm circumference has been recorded at intake and again at discharge. A child who transfers to inpatient care is counted by the receiving facility, not by us.
School retention comes from the termly register held by the partner school. It does not come from what a household tells a field officer on a doorstep.
When a figure changes after audit, we change it here and we say so, rather than quietly replacing the old number.
